...so, yeah, I spent most of today watching Batman.

Surely this is a sign of a misspent life and wildly mislaid priorities, but when I get a job and stuff I probably won't be able to indulge in evenings full of Batman anymore, so I may as well do it now, right?

I love that you've taken the extra step to look up the number of fics on ffn for this show. It shows how thorough you are. (I do the same thing all the time now, just for curiosity, and it's amaaaazing how many fandoms have nothing on ffn.) All the same, Aquaman crying over a few belugas...*sporfle*. I love that they kept the orange shirt, but...*snigger*

Well, I figured I should make sure there actually wasn't any Batman/Aquaman before I complained about the lack of it. There appears to be Batman/Ted Kord!Blue Beetle, which I was kind of looking for too, but no Batman/Aquaman, woes. Looks like that's down to me, then, unless I want to request it for Yuletide and I don't because I'm already signed up for *one* ficathon, dammit, I can't do Yuletide too!

This Aquaman is kind of an emotive guy okay (which is one of the things I think I like about him, but hey). Watching the brutal harpooning of his underwater friends is very distressing! :(

I'm glad someone else enjoyed this post; I worry my Batman squee is turning off people on my flist or getting annoying, so it's nice to know I didn't just set this up for no reason at all.

This show is MAGICAL! And now I know what to do today. (I've been sick all weekend and am going insane with boredom. This is guaranteed to cheer me up!)

I'd only seen the Huntress ep and the MusicMeister ep, so now it's definitely time for some Aquaman.

Isn't it just? Maybe it's just its own refusal to take itself seriously, but this series cheers me up immensely whenever I watch it. It's so much fun! And everyone gets to do something! And it's so colorful!

Ok. You're totally right. Aquaman is HILARIOUS. When he's hugging the lymphocyte I nearly cried from laughing so hard. Oh, lordy.

I LOVE THAT EPISODE SO MUCH. I love Platelet ("actually, it's a lymphocyte"), I love how Atom gets more and more frustrated with Aquaman until he just gives up trying to impose logic on him, I love Brain trying to turn over, I love how, if you think about it for a bit, this episode makes Aquaman several times *more* legit as a superhero because it implies that he can control the water in human blood if he comes into contact with it (as when he formed a water sword inside the bloodstream) and blood cells themselves, so basically all he'd have to do is punch someone hard enough for them to get a cut in their mouth and...yeah. Not that I think about these things or anything.
