Room 504 - Thursday Morning

Jan 19, 2006 12:47

Pippi was reading when she heard a scratching at her door.

"It's open!" she called out, assuming it was Mr Neilson.

No answer, just more scratching.

"I know you know how to open a door ya lazy bones!" she calls out not looking up from her book.

More scratching...

"Fine." she says and goes to the door ( Read more... )

Walter is doing a tour of the chicken-affected dorms. After seeing Furball's chicken experience (and adoring it,) Walter was sort of hoping that Mr. Neilson might be similarly discomfited.

He has a contentedly clucking chicken tucked under his arm, and appears to be carrying on a conversation with her. Unfortunately, he hasn't gotten far enough in Dream's Creature Languages class to actually understand her, but it's helping a little. The appear to be commenting on the state of the dorms.*

*Actually, he's commenting on the dorms, she's commenting on the fact that his hip is too bony and that she'd really appreciate some cracked corn or maybe some oatmeal.

Cluck!

[ooc: slow play is perfectly fine. Supposedly the cable guy will call me before coming to my house so I can leave my internet enabled apartment to go to my internet disabled apartment. (Yes, I know that's a tad confusing.)]

Pippi and the chicken on her head turned to look as Walter walked by the open door...
"It's the 2nd Floor... Isn't it?" she asks in a low and even voice.

"Er, no. I think we're on the fifth. Did that chicken on your head land particularly hard?"

Walter's chicken clucks a friendly hello to Pippi's head fowl.

The head fowl clucks back.

"No." she said, "I mean that's where these..." she points at the bird on her head, "...came from. You're still sore Pip and I didn't tell you about the superball thing aren't you?"

Somewhere down the hall Mr. Neilson could be seen jumping and possibly doing battle with a chicken or two.
