You should have a sweet dinner together.

Like a romantic homemade- or catered since apparently cooking doesn't come naturally- dinner. Put rose petal's everywhere, candles and then lead him to the kitchen with truffles wrapped in small packages with ribbons.

Think of songs that remind you of the two of you, sweet romantic songs, and have them playing softly in the background. He may not be the type to appreciate that though. If you need any other suggestions, I'm pretty much an expert on relationships.

Maybe give him a free days pass to an amusement park of some sorts? Making fun of kids sounds like something he'd like.
