17.-19. Film-watch catch-up part I

I'm woefully behind with both film and book blogging, and it's really weighing on me and stopping me from getting on with other things I want to do. So I'm determined today to get caught up, at least on the films. Yes, absolutely. It's no surprise it is viewed as a classic, crops up regularly on film studies courses etc. It's definitely one I will be very happy to see again and again in the future.

I've lost count of the number of times I've seen it - definitely at least twice on the big screen (Cottage Rd and Hyde Park)and numerous times on Film4, as I am ever so slightly in love with Joseph Cotten and Trevor Howard (so brilliantly cast against type in this)this is no hardship.
