Definitely sounds like not your best day ever.

I've done the mixed up days thing and scheduled subbing for two classes on the same day. I showed up for one the day before, only to find a very confused teacher telling me that it was tomorrow I was supposed to sub for her, and me freaking out because I was already scheduled that day, and then running to the office so the secretary could find her another sub. I felt like such an idiot.

Here's hoping no one reacts to it as badly as you think they could.
