[Hope is just... floating with his back to the tank pretending that this is just a bad dream. And goddamn that starfish in his hair is itchy! However, it looks like he finally got used to his orange and white clowfish tail, which he has to admit is kind of cool.

Still he is definitely NOT displaying himself as provocatively as any of the more experienced and professional mermaids are for two reasons: A) He's 15, and B) NO WAY IN HELL!

In any case, he's trying desperately to pretend there isn't someone looking in at him right now. Tap on the glass?]

[Naoto had a large clam in her tank some time ago, but nooo, they decided to take it out. She wanted her clothes back. At least the seaweed wrap was somewhat comfortable, it just gets slimy and this shell clip in her hair just looks out of place.]

[The fish they chose for her was a Blue Teng. The tail had been frustrating to learn, but now that she's mastered it, she can swim away and hide behind some of the tank decoration she still has instead of 'dance' provocatively for anyone. This job was disgusting.]

[She's been moving to avoid customer's wandering eyes and has taken shelter behind a rock. Doesn't work when people walk around, but at least it makes them lose interest... most of them.]

[Xion's sort of just. floating around in her tank. she initially thought this job was going to be fun, but... really? she has just as much of a clue as to what she's doing here as her fellow coworkers...

which means none at all, really. so whenever she's not awkwardly swishing her tail back and forth in what she assumes to be some kind of mermaid dance, she's just sort of picking at the seashells lining the bottom of her tank, trying to figure out which ones she can get away with stealing.

also for people who aren't her friends, she has some weird sort of seaweed veil over her face. DEAL WITH IT.]

[It's a little odd - and a little disturbing - to see what looks like Ven done up like a mermaid princess. Or a least, he's assuming it's supposed to be 'mermaid princess'. He's also kind of not entirely sure that it isn't actually Ven in there, but that's not about to stop him.
