[Chiyo had heard a lot about conventions and such back where she came from! she'd never gotten the chance to attend any of them, though; too much time was devoted to either studying or hanging out with her friends, and they all preferred to do more outdoorsy things. and Chiyo never minded that! manga wasn't exactly one of her big points, after all. but she needed to get out more and experience things! so this little outing with her friends sounded like a perfect opportunity to do just that-and to get closer to them.

this, however, was... definitely not what she was expecting. right now she's just sort of struck speechless as she looks around (and covers her mouth a little, dear god that smell), unable to verbalize any of the various thoughts she's having at the moment.]

I-I'm sure there are somewhere! I don't see why there wouldn't be. [ She balances on the balls of her feet, trying to peer over the crowd but not having much luck. That... makes things a little difficult, but not impossible to deal with! ] I wonder where we'd look, though...

[ Jasmine would like to move soon, though; the smell of... whatever it is (sweat?) is starting to get to her a little. So, she decides to point in a random direction. ] Th-that way, maybe? Unless you rather go another way...?

[snapping out of her reverie, Chiyo quickly nods in agreement. anything to get moving and distract her from the... unpleasantness of the situation! maybe if they moved, they'd have better chances of running into something enjoyable...?]

Th-that sounds like a great idea! I wouldn't mi-ah!

[aaand it seems this little girl is Whitney's tug buddy. not that she has anything wrong with that! after all, she's happy it's her friend and not... some weird stranger, like she'd heard from others' stories...]

[ Jasmine follows behind Whitney and Chiyo, muttering quick apologies to anyone she runs into (or, in some cases, nearly runs into). She really hopes she did point them the right way. It'd be a pain to go around and head the other way now... ]

[due to her small stature, Chiyo's foremost fear at the moment is the possibility of being separated from her friends. she absolutely does not want that to happen, so she's sticking as close to them as possible... not that it's much of a challenge to do that, seeing as she's all but pressed against Whitney thanks to the actions of the guards... as well as the startling amount of people in the convention hall itself.]

J... just what kind of place is this?

[suddenly she's thinking that this impromptu field trip was a big mistake. but it's too late for them to turn back now...!]
