[Huh. For some reason, the Drive decided to keep her hair ribbon in tact.]
[She's pacing a bit, and looking around anxiously. Shinpachi should be here soon, right?]

[He was seriously wondering if it was a curse. At least he had made it off of the Sigrun but...]
[He rounds the corner, and sees Lemina.]
[W-Wow...she looks really...c-c-c-...]
[Snap out of it, Shinpachi! This doesn't change a thing! Nor does the fact that you're dressed in starched slacks with suspenders over a blue button down shirt and a leather cap. So what if you're dressed like a newsie?]
L-Lemina-dono...?

[She turns, and immediately her cheeks light up.]
[No, she's not discovering a secret love of 50s fashion. This is the first time she's met with him since their call while he was on the Sigrun. When he might have said...]
[... well, what else could he have said?]
[She should bring it up somehow. Ask him. Just to be sure. Just to hear him say it clearly...]
[Instead, she's averting her eyes bashfully, and finding herself at a loss for words.]
S... so.

[But you know what? She can overlook it. I mean, look at the view they've got at this table! The café has access to a large observation deck, meaning they have a gorgeous view of space from here.]

[The only set of clothes that he had that wasn't altered by the drive was...well, his suit. But that was far too formal. So, he decided to leave the tie off, and even left the top couple of buttons opened. Very Samurai GQ.]

[Not that she's complaining, because she's too busy admiring the view. ... oh, and the stars are nice, too.]
[She thanks him softly, and takes her seat.]
[Other than the music, this is a nice restaurant. The stars above, a lit candle in the center of the table...]
[In the back of her mind, she wonders if he can actually afford this. But she has no plans of bringing it up.]

[But it's pretty much all of his money spent on one evening. Not that he'd tell her.]
[He sits across from her and smiles. He hopes she likes the view. The table. Everything.]
A-Are you having fun?
Reply
[... wait, no. Hope you didn't have your heart set on playing skeeball, because the Drive transformed those into bowling lanes.]

I think you'll like this place, Lemina-dono!

[Though even before they walk through the door, there's something she likes about this place. The bright lights and colors, the calamity of sound, that group of kids walking out with toys in their arms...]
[It almost reminds her of gypsy carnivals back home, except there's a distinct electronic twist to it. And though she isn't quick to admit it, there's a part of her that adores magitech and other gadgetry. Thrill is stirring in her heart at the thought of the machines lying behind those doors.]
[Besides, what kind of video game character would she be if she didn't feel at home in an arcade?]

Yeah! And there's prizes and all other kinds of things!

[So. Yeah. Here they are.]
[Walking home together.]
[Alone.]

It is pink after all.]
