Who: Gin [wingsofsilver ] & Cas [deansangel918 ] What: Two angels walk into a bar... (among other things.) When: Today Where: Down on the planet. Warnings: It's a planet of debauchery. :'|
Castiel looked around the landing area with curiosity. The shuttle ride had been very slow, but it was interesting to actually be able to look at the stars as he flew through them. He could have taken himself down to the planet with a thought of course, but he wasn't sure if Gin was able to travel in that manner, and he wasn't sure if it would be rude to ask.
The terminal was not exactly what he expected. It was immediately obvious that this planet, or at least this particular area, catered to some very...specialized industries.
He turned to his traveling companion with a questioning look. "I believe this is what would be called the 'red light district'. Is there a reason you decided we should start here?"
Gin gave a small laugh at that. The kind of laugh one might give if they were on the inside of a joke and the other wasn't, which was sort of what their situation now could be described as. Shifting slightly so he could look at Castiel from the corner of his eye, the bartender treated him to a smirk and shrugged.
That was a laugh that Castiel had heard far too often since he had started walking among humans. It wasn't that surprising though. He had enough trouble understanding human customs. Adding on alien customs just made things even more incomprehensible to him.
At the moment, he was thinking that perhaps he should have paid more attention to the announcement about the planet. He hadn't even read the entry, since he hadn't expected to be visiting.
"What do you mean? Is this the only place the shuttles land?"
"I mean the entire planet is like this." Gin explained calmly, fully ignoring the speculative gazes being cast their way. Doubtless, it was because they weren't quite in the norm by this planet's standards. Norm being drunk or smelling like sweat and crusted jizz.
Yeah, pleasant. He'd pass on the latter part of fitting into this society, thank you very much.
