Amaterasu - Fai cyprian_swan September 13 2010, 01:43:51 UTC
Re: Amaterasu - Fai motherofthesun September 13 2010, 01:58:19 UTC
It wasn't often she slept in her assigned room. Small and cramped up with four others wasn't exactly comfortable, but she could bear it. Every mother needed a break away from the kids (puppies in this case). Nestled in the sheets, she let out a soft sigh and continued to sleep on, unaware of a certain goddess's magic in the works again.

A familiar scent and warmth surrounded Fai quite suddenly. He had been having yet another nightmare, sleeping face down into his pillow... yet it seemed to simply vanish. How odd... yet, he wasn't complaining. Instead, he shifted a little closer to the source of the warmth, nuzzling up close to it.

Hm? Maybe she was still in the Gardens? Then again, this wasn't the familiar, continuous nuzzling like Shin. Maybe one of the others; her human children? It wasn't something bad... Carefully, she wrapped her arms around the form beside her, speaking quietly.

"There, there... it's alright now..."

Asch - Yuri claim_my_place September 13 2010, 03:04:49 UTC
As per usual Asch found himself in the middle of a dream. He was training with Van back in the Oracle Headquarters in Daath, dealing blow after blow with a training sword, Van tirelessly continuing to block and parry. It went on like this for ages until out of nowhere a squadron of soldiers appeared and came rushing in Asch's direction. Just as he had aimed a fatal slash and seen the nearest soldier crumple to the floor, Asch jumped awake, his heartbeat thudding in his throat and his breath coming fast.

He laid there where he was, finally reaching up wearily to push his bangs out of his face. That was when his elbow nudged something that should not have been there, but he was too groggy with sleep to immediately notice.

Despite his protestations, Yuri didn't always sleep that well himself. He had nightmares he'd never admit to - at least, sometimes he had them. Just his luck that tonight was one of the nights when he didn't, when instead he was sleeping peacefully and far too deeply to have noticed the sudden change in beds and sleeping companions.

It wasn't the first bed he'd shared and definitely not the first time he'd been elbowed when doing so. So he didn't even open his eyes, just shoved the elbow out of the way. "Quit it," Yuri said, though it was still mostly indecipherable, and rolled over, away from prodding elbows.

When he heard the murmur, it became apparent that something was wrong. Asch's mind tried to grasp at exactly what was going on. Hadn't he just been shoved? Was the soldier not yet dead?

The ex-commander was nearly certain that he'd done the other man in. He shouldn't be able to speak, much less move!

Asch quickly hoisted himself into a sitting position, reaching for the sword which wasn't there at his belt.

"Dammit..." Asch shook his head, his vision finally clearing as he looked around the room for, and finally spotted his sword. It was propped up against a chair, right where he'd left it the night before.

In his room. Asch was in his room. It had all been a dream.

However, Asch grew tense as he realized he could still hear the other soldier breathing.

Aziraphale - Chihaya cyprian_swan September 13 2010, 01:44:41 UTC

If there was one thing Chihaya could do very well, it was cuddle. Recent times found him and Kagetsuya often sharing a bed, and those were always the nights where he could just wrap his arms around someone he knew, trusted and loved dearly with a relaxed sigh and a happy smile.

So he didn't think twice about giving the warm body next to him a big hug in a half-asleep stupor, snuggling his face into a chest that seemed somewhat less muscular than what he expected. Unfortunately, his fogged brain couldn't really discern the difference and instead prompted him to continue nuzzling away without thought to the consequences. Chihaya gave a low murmur and grasped at the fabric of a shirt belonging to who he assumed to be Kagetsuya.

Aziraphale wasn't entirely used to sleep, even though he had had months to practice now. He also knew that Crowley sometimes liked a warm body to wrap around when he was sleepy, even though they didn't share a bed. It was probably something to do with all those years he spent as a snake. Those winters were merciless to cold-blooded creatures.

Which was why he didn't react at first, when Chihaya hugged him. He draped an arm around the other sleeper, sighing drowsily. It was only then he noticed that something was off.

The angel sat up reluctantly, gently easing Chihaya off of him. "...Good morning?"

Chihaya shifted with a soft disapproving groan, still not fully awake just yet. But at the voice, he suddenly bolted up and to the side, stammering away and nearly catapulting off the bed.

"A-A-A-Azi...Aziraphale?!"

[it took Kaylee a few seconds to process that something was different]

[because this definitely wasn't the hammock in Serenity's engine room]

[and it wasn't her bunk in her room]

[and it wasn't even that bed that the Thor assigned to her]

...Did something happen last night?

[he'd respond]

[except for the tiny fact]

[that you're sitting on his lungs, since when did humans ever feel this heavy?!]

[of course, that doesn't stop his true nature from shining through]

What, you don't remember? How cruel.

[oh, there's a guy in the bed]

[did she get some]

[did she get some and not remember it?]

[nah she's made that exact same joke before so she's just going to laugh]

I didn't think so, but this place is pretty weird.

Hades - Vincent Nightray cyprian_swan September 13 2010, 01:45:32 UTC
Re: Hades - Vincent Nightray kill_some_time September 13 2010, 03:40:11 UTC
While Hades did not sleep, he had no problems pretending to do so as long as there was a possibility of entertainment coming from it. He had to admit that it was the first time he was using ‘his bed’ and that he had only been able to pinpoint it as such because somebody had had the mind to remove the items he had left on it and to lay them onto the desk where he could see them without moving instead. Lying still as he was - wait, was he supposed to act as if he'd need to breathe? Oops, he'd forgotten about that.-, his hair probably covered the better part of the bed’s surface.

... Which was not necessarily a good thing if one was expected to share.

Well, Vincent was laying with his back to Hades, his own hair spread out across the pillow. Mind you, it was not nearly as long or wild as the God's. In fact, he hadn't no idea he was in another person's bed. He simply breathed slowly and softly, burrowing his face into the pillow. Mind you... The bed did feel somewhat smaller than usual. Why was that? Perhaps he had brought another woman home and forgotten...Ah, it wasn't important.

Hades didn't mind waiting, but having his presence getting brushed off as boring was somewhat insulting. This was definitely one of the less good times for being an involuntary eavesdropper of the mind.

Frowning silently, he decided to give the other one one more chance before taking actions himself.
