Who the hell lies about being gang raped by five men??? Now their faces and names and everything are out there attatched to this story and...ugh!!!

And god forbid someone actually gets raped later this semester--what's the first thing everyone is going to think???

So fucking pissed right now.

That's exactly what I'm thinking.

There are a million reasons why someone might recant. And, given all the hoopla and the really awful reactions I've been hearing, it rings as depressingly plausible that she might have just decided she can't handle dealing with it.

I was going to say "I hope she just recanted because she was overwhelmed or scared" but I really don't know what to hope in this situation... :/
