That "pets" line was the coldest thing (in a long, long line of cold) on the show. And your rabbit choice brought to mind the "Roger and Me" gut punch of "pets or meat" hard scrabble existence. *shiver*

That's really excellent work - going places I'd never considered, like Claire/Whiskey not remembering Alpha's attack. Which brings home the blankness of the dolls and the artificiality of the doll-constructs.

It's good to have shiny new fandom to explore!
