Wildly funny, and so incredibly amusing. This whole scenario of a tropical paradise for miswritten characters is completely whacky, but it works brilliantly.

...On the other hand, I clearly have insufficient TV culture, because I don't know a lot of the extras. But I am (almost!) motivated to find out about them.

Wonderfully spare writing, as always. The 'what might have been' is certainly epic.

I am so out of the loop on TV, BUT I can follow the gist of this. TV is TV. Mary Tyler More/Big Bang Theory...kinda the same:))

I loved this:

"You got your smart, independent female lawyer, your smart independent female doctor, your smart independent businesswoman, your smart independent female CIA agent, .."

I would like to see someone who is barely holding it together.

Like me. An awful 4 Weeks for my house, so I missed writing a comment.

Cuddy is...The Law. I love it! She's a fixer by nature. Having to sort out the "Glee" genre would make me go postal as well, I think. :)

Loved this line:
"Well, the other things that we are up to our eyeballs in around here are musically gifted adolescents, criminals with hearts of gold, pains in my ass, and oversensitive geniuses. So statistically speaking, there ought to be at least three of you here blocking my view of the sunset."

And it's nice to know that there is somewhere a world with all of those smart, independent female (insert job here). Very apropos that Cuddy would take her place among them, and still manage to find House.
