This Seattle weather sucks! I’m sure I’m not the only one thinking this right now. It’s 6:50pm Thursday night, and I’m sitting in the dark, with candles around me and a fire going. Sounds nice and cozy, right? Well, it would be, if A)it were by choice, or B)I had someone to share the ‘coziness’ with.

I'm sorry you don't have your power back yet! Ours was out from midnight Thursday to 6:30pm Friday. Long enough. Luckily our fireplace is gas so we were able to huddle around that for most of yesterday and we BBQed our entire dinner. We didn't want the meat to go bad, lol.

Glad to hear you're feeling better. BTW I found out someone else's little secret!! She told me on Thursday. YIPPEE!!! :-)

HA! I would be in heaven if our power was only out for as long as yours! ;) Ours is still out...Today is day 3. We've been staying at my parents' house as they have power. Thank goodness!!!
She told you?! I didn't think she was going to tell anyone until 12 weeks. Pretty exciting! :)

It's terrible to be without power, especially in the winter. I'm glad Greg made it home safely so you didn't have to spend the night alone without electricity. Hopefully you will get your power back soon.

Yeah, no fun in the winter. But we have been lucky to be able to stay at my parents' house, who have power. Hopefully ours will be back on sometime today!

Oh no, Stef! I have been oblivious to the world around me all weekend, and right before reading this post I saw on the news about the storms and loss of power in the Northwest and was hoping you weren't affected! Please stay safe and warm. I'm glad that Greg is home, and I hope your power returns soon. I'm thinking of you!

Hey there!
Thanks for thinking of me! Our power just came back on this afternoon (Sunday). It was out for just about three days. Crazy! It's so nice to be sitting in my house, warm, able to do laundry and wash dishes! Never thought I'd say that!!! We lost most of the food out of our freezer, but that's okay. If that's the worst that happened to us, we are pretty lucky.

Oh Stef! I thought about you every time I saw about the weather up there on the news. Is your power back yet? Are you spending time at home during the day and then sleeping at your parents at night? Is Greg traveling again this week? Stay warm!

Hey Kate! Our power came back yesterday afternoon....after being out for just about 3 days. We were lucky that our only 'loss' was most of the food in our fridge/freezer. We were pretty lucky. Greg's in town this week, thank goodness! :)
