Designer Jewlery Can Be Steamy, Too...

My mum's watch broke recently, so she went out to get a new one. The one I insisted she buy (and thank god - it was like 80% off and nobody knew until we bought it) is from Anne Klein, I think. It's rather steampunk - ish, what with the copper and the intricate gears, so I thought I'd share.

That's the other one, I think.

The silver one is more popular, and I think a bit less expensive, but the copper one just looks better.

I don't know about that specific watch, but my roommate works for ShopNBC. They carry a line of watches from Android (the watchmaker brand ( ... )

Exposed gears as a style has been gaining popularity for the last ten years. My favorite skeleton watch movements is called flying tourbillion. The hypnotizing movements is designed to counter the effect of the coriolus effect of Earth's rotation.
