The Delta Anomaly (Star Trek: Starfleet Academy)

Along with a reboot of the movie franchise, the Star Trek novels are also getting a hipper face lift. Set during Kirk’s time at the Academy, the Starfleet Academy Series books are good supplements to the events of the movie, which skip over those three years. They are marketed as young adult but I think the books are appropriate for any age

I always thought that instead of Enterprise they should have done Startfleet Academy. They could have "Guest Professors" from TNG, DS9 and VOY.

Young actors, throw some 90210-esque relationships into it. Lots of field exercise episodes. Also, show the more creative teaching methods. =)

also i think that the could have closed up a few loose ends from after voyager. We see janeway brielfy in nemesis but that's it. . .

have you read the book yet? and if you have does spock get with uhura or is there other love interests?

we see the begining of a mutual attraction that will eventually develop into their relationship, but not much other than that . . .

the focus seems to be kirk
