So Jonathan's roomie Phil is dating this girl. This girl has a 5 month old. Make a long story short, I'm baby-sitting this kid tommorrow from like 7am to noonish.

I've never taken care of an infant. I don't even know how to change diapers....

Oh my god... I'm babysitting two cousins right now. I've been watching them since Tuesday night and they don't leave until Saturday afternoon. The older one (9 years old) is a perfect angel but I really feel like beating the ass of the spoiled (I just got pulled away from typing this to keep the younger one from throwing things and breaking my gamecube) violent three year old.

Anyway... why on EARTH would they stick you, apperantly not a close friend or experienced infant taker carer of, with such a job....?

Apprently the girl is leaving the boy's father right this moment and is being kicked out of the house. Phil is gonna stay with her at her house tonight. But both of them have to be on the boat (go navy >:( ) at like 6:30 in the morning. Jonathan has duty, and the other roommate, Matt, is a nutball. So since I'm here in the house anyway, asked me to do them the favor.

I couldn't really say no. But yeah, its a weird situtation.

Well, at five months, I seem to recall lots of sleeping. Especially from 7am to noon. It's the middle of the night that they like being awake. ;)

Well, 5 month old shouldn't be too bad. Just make sure you get the emergency info and ask for a list of things you need to watch out for. And try not to barf when you get to change your first dirty diaper. It's not difficult, but it's really gross.

Five months is easy. (Take it from a pro.) 0700 to 1200? Five hours? Figure four diaper changes, probably half that time sleeping.
