Nothing personal this time, I swear! Sifting through my e-mail inbox, I was reading 'taglines' for articles at New York Times. I came across the following tagline: A federal judge ruled that the courts do not have the authority or the expertise to decide injury lawsuits concerning global warming.Before I get into this subject, a slight disclaimer:

Wow... no, I hadn't, but since then, I've heard of it from a few other sources. *shakes head*

And this is why I have newsletter subscriptions to the Stella Awards, and a somewhat related one, This is True.

But, on the lighter side, the same guy also started a more positive newsletter, Heroic Stories. Some of those sappy 'everyday hero' stories that tend to lift peoples' spirits when humanity seems to be rapidly sinking into collective idiocy. *nods*
