I've spent the day listening to U2's nineties albums on repeat as I work on college essays. On Zooropa, the last track is called The Wanderer, and it's great, but has this horrible...thing...that happens at the end. There's like a thirty-second dead space after the song ends, and then this terrifyingly loud siren starts blaring for another twenty

Argh, yes, this needs to happen! I can sing off-key at you, too. I sing along with any song I know -- it's a bit of a bad habit -- and the sister walked in as I was attempting to sing Lemon, which involves a disturbing amount of falsetto. You do not want to hear my falsetto, ever. It was most unfortunate. I think I traumatized her slightly. :P

Oof. I feel your pain. That is exactly why I don't do choir. Well, that, and the fact that the alto bits were the most boring ever.

....ah, but at least you weren't trying to sing this. Good lord. :P
