Summary; Death is not the end, but only the beginning of something else. (Three guesses what I was thinking of when I wrote this.)

After Han had died--having lived long enough to completely spoil his grandchildren and the first of his great-grandchildren--he had been afforded a Jedi funeral, despite not having even a trace of sensitivity.

This part really got to me. I think it's because we don't know what happens to Han, but this gives hope that... there's kind of hope that the Force doesn't make distinctions.

I'm not gonna lie, our various conversations on the topic of the deaths of the big three heavily influenced this.

That, and my personal belief that what name you give your belief doesn't matter. If you're a good person and do good works, then that's what matters.

You're right - it was character death, but definitely in a good way. They deserved to finally be able to rest, and their family is in good hands. :)

I loved it. It is sad as most death fics, but I like the way they left. This is exactly how I'd wish it to happen. In peace, together, and loving people both at the place they went to, and at the place they left.
