Not just boys, but still exclusive.

That's what Radiation Oncology practice in US is. In other specialties, non-US/Canadian candidates gain a licence with USMLE and they are free to practice.

Radiation Oncologists are not. No. We are asked to redo the four year residency.

I can't find words to describe how i feel about that.

It's not like US is the best in this field. Germany and Japan have top notch facilities.

Ugh. That is a huge annoying part of practicing in the US. A few of my friends who practice a subspecialty (although not Radiation Onc) have worked with their hospitals to do a shortened fellowship while being a faculty member.
