Waiting Game
It only happened when he closed his eyes, truly closed them, and he was left vulnerable to everything and anything around him. He could hear the shuffling of feet out of the room; he could feel the cold steel of the locker pressed against his forehead as he wondered just why he played these games. He could smell sweat and teen-age boy, thick and heady, permeating the air. He could sense that he was alone in the room, but not.
Fuji never said a word, no matter how many tried to fight their way from his mouth. There were no words that could adequately voice what he felt in Tezuka's presence anyhow. He simply stood there, back to the room, to him, eyes clenched shut, and waited for something to happen.
He could still feel the burn of those fingers on his skin from earlier in the day. The excitement tore through him, making his body demand something he knew he shouldn't have. Knowing he was being watched, Fuji hadn't been able concentrate on much else except the knowledge that his Captain wanted him just as much as he wanted his Captain.
His Captain.
His brilliant, captivating, demanding Captain who stole his breath and reason from him, causing him to follow him utterly.
His wonderful, noble, devastating Captain who made him tremble and insecure, made his knees so weak that he could barely stand.
His beautiful, stoic, terrible Captain, who was standing right behind him, hugging him tightly, both ensuring and preventing his fall.
