So I was thinking! Isn't it cute how you all trusted that Rika chick so much? [he holds out the communicator a bit so you can see him dramatically shrug with one arm.]Think about it! How many of you committed suicide just because she said to? You were all killing each other like a bunch of mindless soldiers! But it was out of trust. I mean, if I ( Read more... )

{He's seriously trying to figure out if you're being a condescending prick or if you're just THAT ignorant about how this sounds. That smirk alone really kind of makes him think you're just being an ass.}

I think, for as girly as you look, you're about as sensitive as a cactus.

[everyone wonders about this...]

Whoa now, bub. Who's girly? I'm as manly as they get!

Anyway, don't get mad. I was just pointing it out!

... I traveled the world with 1600 other men and trust me, you are NOT the manliest. I know a few cross-dressers too, so I'd like to think I have a decent scope.

I think it depends on what you were trying to point out? Were you telling us how foolish we are? Or do you honestly think our trust in each other is something to be admired?

Because if the latter were true, you could have said it in a less condescending way.

Oh? You don't think it does?

Nope. It doesn't take much by way of brains to take each circumstance as a different situation and act accordingly. You can't even really say I trusted Rika, I just did what I thought was best for the situation at hand.

People do not need trust to do stupid things.

Gullibility or the choice of no other option can also cause this. But I could care little, I was not part of... whatever this was.

True enough. Still, it was a bit drastic.

So you got to stay here, huh.

And drastic measures are never needed?

And you did not, hm?

I didn't say that.

But I sure didn't. That place wasn't too shabby, either.

Yeah, you're exactly right. If you would have been the one to say something like that rather than Rika-chan, I wouldn't have done it.

Right. Like I said.

So it is a beautiful mutual trust.

Don't take it too personally. I wouldn't have listened to the majority of this place in a situation like that.

No worries, my dear! I'd have to say the same. I don't really remember, but I'm pretty sure my death wouldn't have been by choice. Heheh.

Classic extremist cult behavior.

Cult? Really?

A sizable number of people agreed to commit murder-suicides with absolutely no argument. Despite the fact that this Rika presented no proof or evidence that what she claimed was in fact the truth.

Such blind faith in a single person is a classic sign of the cult mentality.

...At least, that's what I heard once on television!
