Last night, I watched Super-Size Me for the third time. If you’ve not seen it, you can watch it free here - even if you’ve never before seen a documentary and will never again watch one, you need to see this film. Released in 2004, it follows a healthy, happy young-adultish guy with a vegan chef for a girlfriend as he decides to eat nothing but ( Read more... )

I'm happy with myself cause even after having seen that totally amazing documentary, I still can't recite the Big Mac jingle. It's something I never learned. But I DO know the Pledge of Allegiance! Hehe! Woot! Maybe Miss Teen USA could have recited the Big Mac jingle better than she could have answered that question about finding the USA on a map? But then again, it looks as if any Big Mac she touched would have gone back the way it came. Blah. Junk food.

The Miss Teen USA chick would have been better off reciting the Big Mac jingle instead of the answer she gave...

Aimee Teegarden:

Q) Recent polls have shown 1/5 of Americans can't locate the U.S. on a world map. Why do you think this is?

Miss Teen USA South Carolina:

A) I personally believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so, because.... Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions (and everywhere, like, such as) on a sesame seed bun!

Wow... you're right... that WAS better.

Eww, when I first saw that documentary, I nearly puked. Well, not literally. But you know what I mean. It was so crazy how fast his health deteriorated just from eating Mikky D's. *shudders* But yeah, that documentary was pure genius. =)

I saw that a while back. I felt nauseous for days afterward. Great for my diet! I've been watching his show here and there. Saw a lot of the one where he stayed in a prison. The dude is dedicated.

I knowwwwwww... I really like his new show. I think it's a great concept. I keep catching "just pieces" of it and I'm looking forward to being able to watch a whole episode!

I need to bump up that DVD on my netflix list. I've had it on there forever but it hasn't made it to the top yet. So, you've just made my next netflix choice for me!

I have to agree with you on soda. I started going lighter on the soda a year or so ago because of some research I heard on the news, and now I am soda-free. I didn't intend to be, but I have a lot less headaches now! And it's not hard to be soda-free either. Where there is a choice of soda there is almost always an option for water, and though tasteless, it's a better choice overall anyway! And here I am making you yern for 7-Up Gold! How could I?!? LOL!

You know, it's funny... it was just last summer (while you were telling me about your quest to lighten up on soda) that I was insisting to you that while I could see why you'd make that choice, I never could... and here we are a year later and I'm completely free of it, too - and likewise, completely unintentionally. And I feel so much better for it - it's amazing how much more energy I have, not being fueled by sugar.

Me... with more energy... frightening, no? :)
