Leon commented this weekend that I've not been posting very much lately, and although I pointed out that I had three new entries last week, he said that this was hardly anything and I suppose he's right ( Read more... )

I say leave the panties. They add a certain touch to a room, don't you think? (Just make sure they're clean ones.)

Any friends nearby you can pay off with body butter to help clean up? It'd take some of the stress of Clorox and brooms off you...

No friends to help; Kate wants to clean before letting any friends see how we live :)

Aw, it isn't that bad, trust me. At least you have a bathroom. The toilet is literally 18 inches from where I lay my head at night...

Trust me, our apartment is a pig sty. Literally. We have 3 guinea pigs whose cage is currently 6 inches from my computer, and we end up with bedding and hay getting all over the place.

I am sorry that you are so stressed out. It sucks, and while not wanting to say that I have walked a mile in your shoes, my life is moving from one stressful issue to the other. I am someday hoping that medical science can remove the knots from my shoulders.

What would make life better and less stressful for you? Can you point to one thing or one aspect?

I can't let this go by either...you hang your unmentionables from the light fixtures?

Right now, I think that the best way to eliminate stress is to tackle each of my stressful things one at a time, even little by little. I think that certainly helps.

Getting a maid would also be incredibly sweet. I mean, just someone to come in this month because we're busy, not someone to come in all the time, although, if I could afford that, I'd hire a regular cleaning service in a heartbeat.

In the short term, though, a hot bath + moderately priced bath products would probably help.

Well, there's only so much room on the drying rack, you know? No one wants wet knickers in their underwear drawer! ;)

*hugs*

I wish I had something comforting to tell you. I'm here if you ever do feel like talking.

Your underpants hanging on the lights sounds interestingly amusing, however :)
