So this weekend was busy! We left on the 5:52 train Sunday morning to get to Osaka by 7:30 to meet the WhyNot?! tour group. Then we headed down to Tokushima by bus, and got there a little after 12. It is indeed the bestest name for a tour group! Next month they're doing Ise Shrine and log rafting, but I don't think I'll be able to do that one...

Sounds like you've been having an adventure! (It's been fun seeing pictures on Facebook.) I'm so jealous.

And if I were, say, seriously thinking about coming out to visit next spring/summer, when would be the most opportune time? >.>

If you were? Spring break is in March, and the end of April/beginning of May is Golden Week. I'll be most likely leaving Japan late July or early August, so June might be the last chance I'd get to do something.
