Name(s): Elizabeth Middleford, Ciel Phantomhive, Madam Red, Sebastian the butler caretaker Location: A study, with windows so they can watch the falling snow Week: 48 Time: Midday Rating: Shouldn't be too bad
He asked out of the blue, rearranging the furniture to accommodate the two that were to arrive. He lifted his head, looking toward his Young Master. It was somewhat unsettling to hear that Madam Red had risen from the dead, but it was not something Sebastian could hold against her. His Master had, after all, pulled a similar trick. He looked back down, returning to the task at hand. He had only a couple of minutes to prepare the tea, and cakes, and so there was no reason to be wasting time.
"I will stay by your side through and though. Should you feel uncomfortable at any point Young Master, tell me, .. and I will ask her to leave. I know this is a lot to handle, as we both saw what happened. But you should know, that Death isn't always permanent."
Lizzie knocks on the door before looking inside, holding a tray of brownies in one hand. She looks very nice in her fur shawl and a new dress. The castle wasn't very warm, even though the school uniform was very warm. Lizzie just couldn't wear that outfit when it came to tea with Ciel and Auntie though.
"Oh! It looks wonderful here~" She smiles as she enters the room. holding out the brownies to Sebastian as she walkes closer, she clearly wantes to go over and hug Ciel. "I came before Auntie, didn't I." It wasn't really a question since she could clearly see she wasn't hear yet. "Isn't it wonderful to see her again~?!"
Nervous. My, what an understatement that was. Having used the map that one of the students had loan to her, Madam Red found the Study just fine. It wasn't, however, a matter of finding it so much as it was a matter of entering it. Wearing a frown, she shifted anxiously. Had she the strength to confront her nephew after having threatened to take his life, ..? N- No. Her shoulders visibly sank, and she expelled a sigh. What had she been thinking agreeing to this, it was ludicrous!
But then she heard something from behind the door. It was barely discernible, but Madam Red knew it to be Elizabeth, ' .. isn't it wonderful to see her again, ..' "Elizabeth, oh, it only you knew of the horrible things I have done, .. then you wouldn't be so forgiving." Hanging her head, Madam Red contemplated just turning around and leaving, .. without so much as a hello, but she had promised Elizabeth. &besides, there was an apology to make. She just couldn't afford to walk away.
Putting on a smile, Madam Red barging into the room. "Ciel~ Elizabeth~
"Tch.. nervous? Hardly.." Ciel argued. He was concerned there was a difference, although it was a slight relief that he would not be meeting the Madam alone, and he might take Sebastian up on that offer if a need should arise.
Elizabeth was the first to arrive, dressed in her finest, clutching the brownies. It appears they had both decided to avoid those uniforms for this occasion. The formal attire was certainly more appropriate. Ciel nodded in her direction and offered her a sedate welcome before answering her question, "Wonderful indeed..". Walking over to one of the chairs he held it out for Lizzie like a proper gentleman.
It came as only a slight surprise when the door burst open, announcing the second and final invitee. If she was feeling out-of-place her mannerisms weren't letting on, "Afternoon". A simple greeting, given in a flat tone.
