Oh come on, the best part of Byakkotai is totally that there are sneak covers of Josh Groban songs at inopportune moments, so it's really hard not to laugh during dramatic moments. XD

Oooooh wow this post is AWESOME. I've been looking for new drama recs! :D

I've been watching some REALLY ridiculous shows lately - action dramas like Jyuuden Sentai Gekiranger, Garo, Fuma no Kojirou.... and also comedies like Happy Boys, Delicious Gakuin, Antique, Biyou Shounen Celebrity.... They're such utter CRACK. I've also been poking around at Koshonin and Shigeshoushi, but I haven't had much time to watch them yet. I'll let you know how they turn out, if you're interested. And if you want to know more about any of them, I'm happy to oblige. :D

Yay for the RH+ and Akihabara @DEEP recs - those were on my list of partially downloaded shows to check out.

Ah, I haven't heard of...most of those, but that may just be because our exposure to jdramas is almost entirely through Johnny's.

I really cannot recommend Akihabara@deep enough! I love it so much.

I get to most of my dramas through Tenimyu actors actually. XD Gekiranger has Zukki and Araki, Garo has Konishi (Ibu), FnK has Gaku (Bane), Happy Boys has KenKen, Delicious Gakuin has Aiba, Biyou Shounen has Masa and Konii, Koshonin has Shirota, Shigeshoushi has Wada..... Antique is the only one that doesn't fit, and that one's because I've read the manga.

But because I get to everything through Tenimyu, I haven't heard of most of these, so I'm excited to check out some new stuff. :D

Nino raping his teacher is one of the funniest things ever ;alkdfj;lakdj god, Stand Up. ♥ It's really amazing.

Emily tried to watch an episode of My Boss My Hero, but neither of us is much of a Tegoshi fan, so I don't know if it would really keep our interests. We are going to give Nodame a shot, though! We watched half an episode a few months ago but just never got back to it.
