Last weekend

Apr 28, 2008 22:30

I've got to catch up on posting before I get any further behind, but I can't ramble on too much, as my new bedtime is in half an hour due to starting my new job tomorrow. It's been wonderful running on a free schedule the last two weeks, staying up until I was tired and sleeping until I wasn't. A 2am bedtime and noon wakeup time really seem to be ( Read more... )

i still have to catch up on LAST weekend. and we wound up written up for alcohol and noise violations so you know it was a fun one. AND i have pictures to share that i feel like i'm never going to get to. *sigh*

your hair looks adorable. i have a massive paranoia about getting my hair cut, ever since fifth grade when i got layers on short hair and got made fun of for my fro for YEARS. :( for the longest time i just kept it long (down to my butt). i only let ONE friend cut it these days, and i only do so when it gets dead at the ends and she yells at me. lol.

you scared me with that baby photo. i thought it was an ACTUAL tatt. *faint* and lizardman is SO cool.

I just finally read your fountain/camping and Angie stories... I saw them when I was catching up on my FL after my weekend away, but didn't have time to read it all. I didn't comment there, but I'm sure glad everything turned out ok in both situations! And I didn't hear anything about violations yet, so you mustn't have written about that part yet!

I've never really had a bad haircut. I always just tell them that I have to be able to tie it back, and other than that they can do whatever they want with it. That way, even if it looks bad, I can still tie it back to hide it, haha.

ooooo, I like the hair! Looks very good.
Ok, you gotta take a photo of your sofa covering for me :-) And I adore that black pony soft toy. If I had something like that on my sofa, Kody would kill it. Ah, bless his little labrador heart.
I'm a scorpio too :-) But yeah, I think I would be in a constant state of fear if i wore that. Y'know, tat's freak me out, they really do. I don't miind one or two, but when they go all over.... unless there is some pretty damn serious emotion or sacred tradition behind it, they just look so damn awful. The one time I walked into a tat paerlour with a friend, I almost passed out from hyperventilation because a guy was getting a small one done on his arm. Just the idea... omg....
Mane Event, eh? I wonder if that's like Equitanna that we have here.

Here's a more full shot of the covering (purchased at a thrift store) and my awesome velvet painting that I got for $1 at a garage sale.

SQUEEEE!!!! That's fantastic! That covering and the painting are so complementary. Ah, velvet paintings, so 1970's :-D Ooooooo, so you are seriously thinking about November? That would totally rock. Let me know so I can take time off work. I was going to volunteer for Equitana again this year as last time waa so much fun, but I think this year I'll just go to enjoy myself, not work like a mad woman.

I have this sweet 16x20 photo of Theo I want to hang in place of the velvet painting, but I shall miss her so. :p

I AM seriously thinking about November... you have me convinced weather-wise and it seems like that would give me enough organization/planning time between finishing work in August and leaving. Technically I'm free as of September, but I think it would be good to take some time to spend with my family again and do some riding in the mountains before I abandon my poor boys for so long!

He was laughing, hehe. Some babies don't like to be held by strangers, but he was loving it!

I kinda feel that way about going out now too. Every once in awhile I have fun, but most of the time I stare at people being drunk and skanky and retarded and just go "wtf???" :P Lol.

I'm pretty sure the guy tattooing the woman in the red tank was in my store today. I was (secretly) admiring his tattoos while he paid.
That baby is ADORABLE! *dies*

He's kinda cute, isn't he? (I'm referring to the tattoo artist, but the baby is cute too)
