I love the easy-flowing dialogue and the way each reads the other. I wanted to relax and enjoy the banter, but the sinister presence of the handcuffs didn't quite allow it. Excellent characterization of everybody. I had never thought how Drake might bloom under the concerted attention of JJ, but of course it does make sense. Thanks for making time to write this and post it for us! 'Grumpy nuzzling!' LOVE it!

I'm thrilled that you read this (especially knowing how busy you are!) - thanks for letting me know you enjoyed it!

(As for "grumpy nuzzling" - I have to admit that I wouldn't find Ryo's "annoyed" face anywhere near adorable if I had to put up with it in real life, but within the realm of the manga, it cracks me up. And at least Dee knows to read it as "I'm under his skin, heh, go me!")

P.S. Apologies for the belated and scatterbrained response - I ended up buried under estate obligations the past week (so to speak, she said grimly). I did yell at the guys for trying to hijack another fic instead of moving forward in this one, and I know a few more things about this Dee than I did a week ago - now to steal enough time to write them out!

Oh, psh. I'm unemployed. I have all the time in the wooooorld. (Sadly.) >_>

I read the other two parts today! It's rolling out very interestingly and I'm looking forward to more ACTION. ;)

Other things I have to say:
1. That Alex guy is a winner.
2. I love JJ being a freak.
3. Everything Dee = <3 (As it should be)
4. You have really interesting introspective paragraphs/long dialogues, but sometimes it's a little sticky to read through. But fuck me, am I right? XD
