I liked this - admittedly, this pairing's my guilty pleasure, so I'm positively biased towards any ficlet about it, but you seemed to have both Boromir and Legolas down perfectly in this, and the second-to-last line was just perfect. Also, I rather liked Boromir being slightly ill at ease in Lothlorien; it felt very Boromir, and at the same time, I'd imagine Sam (for example) to find it hard to find rest as well, but for completely different reasons.

It's a very interesting pairing, I think, and something about Lothlorien just seemed the perfect setting for it; Legolas was so... almost alien in that part of the movie, so beautiful but slightly distant from the others because he's around his own kind, while Boromir is so unsettled and distressed thinking about his home, and the balance came out pretty interesting to write.

Thank you for the comment! It's not one of my fandoms normally but something about the prompt just begged to be written. Probably the bit in me that hovered around on fanfic rant communities during the period when every other LotR fic seemed to involve Legolas getting buttsexed by orcs. He deserves better and I had fun righting (and writing) that wrong ^^!
