Wow, these are nice!!
BTW.. couple things I noticed playing w/ PhotoShop Elements... try making a duplicate layer, then turn off visibility for the actual background (original) image.. that way you can get the transparency for whatever bakground you'd like to use. If you have a relatively uncomplicated background to remove that is VERY different from what you wanna keep, that magic eraser can be a big help. Sometimes it helps to use the blur brush to blend in a bit, but that only works if your new background is a bright color or not very much darker than your image, otherwise you might get kind of a haze around the image.

Thanks. I like your new icon too. It looks great with my color scheme. Is that Buckley? May I steal it? I think I'm going to give the first one I stole from you a make-over, a kind of 'Pimp-my-Icon' treatment

No, that's Loki... did't see why you should have all the fun, LOL!!
Glad you like it... I take it you noticed the interesting collection of backgrounds in PhotoShop Elements? (You get more of 'em if you buy the thing & register it...) I did that blurring thing w/ the edges that I was telling you about... works best if you don't have very much lighter or darker tones in the background.
Oh, yeah, try playing with transparency in your layers.. you can get some very cool effects that way!
Manual... D'you have my old Photoshop text?? Was wondering where it had gone to..!
Still not sure what to tell you re the brush indicator colors... my best thought says to check in Preferences.. but I'm always hesitant to switch stuff around there, as it tends to wanna stay that way well past when you needed it..
Very nice work there. Of course I grabbed the two of Carson. The ones of Elizabeth in the circle and the one with the arch are great too, as is the Ford close up. The one of Rodney is nice as well. Talk with you soon.

Belatedly, I am taking the John & Teyla , 104 and Blue John from this group. Why yes, I am procrastinating :), I had a frustrating week and am packing only slowly as a consequence. Very typical, and I am really, really looking forward to this vacation.

I am, belatedly, taking Blue John104 and Teyla saving John from this group. You are doing excellent work. Why yes, I am procrastinating :), I had an entirely frustrating week and am looking so forward to this vacation. Cats are vetted, car is ready to go, I am 25% packed- totally typical of me at this point. See you tonight.!!
