LJ Idiot in need of helpjessie_cristo73August 8 2018, 04:28:57 UTC
How do we get notifications when posts are made to this comm? I am already a member but I don't get anything from y'all in email or here on LJ. I thought it would be automatically done once you join a comm on here? I missed out on the Artist sign-ups and a bit sad about that.

Hello hello!
First off, what makes you think you missed out on the Artist sign-ups this year? ;) It's not September yet! (The schedule is posted in the entry above. You still have plenty of time!)
Regarding notifications, go to your personal LJ journal's "settings", then click the "notifications" tab. That's where you control what LJ sends you notifications for, and how you want them. You can get them to your email, or to your DMs on your LJ ... pick your poison!
Good luck! Let us know if you have any other questions. :D

A friend told me Artist sign-ups was closed. Then I thought I saw that it was on the schedule. *adjusts glasses*
When I thought I'd missed out on artist sign-ups I started thinking over joining as an author again. I did it once before and got too big for my britches and took on two artists. I was able to only do one and still apologizing to my first artist every now and then, to this day. (bluefire) So joining as an author again kind of makes me leery 'cos I don't wanna fall down on anyone again, but I think I've gotten better w/ time management. At least I haven't missed any other deadlines, since. So I think I'm gonna try as an author again.
ANY idea what claims are going to start on Saturday? I'm going to be at the SPN con this weekend and I'm going to miss out on a bunch of options if it's during the middle of the day lol.
Also, I want to sign up as an author but I don't want to sign up if there's the chance I won't be able to claim anything due to convention goodness -- can I sign up as both that and a pinch hitter, just to cover my bases?
RE: Question!beelikejSeptember 19 2018, 00:38:49 UTC
Claims will open at 15:00 GMT/11am EST.
Signing up as an author doesn't mean you *have to* claim, but you do have to sign up to be able to claim in the first round, so you should;) There is no need to sign up as a pinch hitter; we have a side community where we will post any art that becomes available; go follow spnrbb_pinchhit to keep an eye on that!

Hi! Welcome to the ReverseBang:) Originally a woobie is a snuggly item to comfort a child, like for instance a blanket or a cuddly stuffed animal. In fandom we use the term for a character that's very precious and soft & sweet:) Someone you'd want to comfort and hug.
Y'all. This is crazy! How did I not sign up this year? I got the email. I thought I did it. Apparently I didn't! I do RBB every year. This time I will enjoy being a spectator, though. There are always so many great stories :)
There will indeed be plenty of art and fic to enjoy:) FYI: if there happen to be artworks left after the first round, we'll open a second round where everyone can claim! So be prepared for that. You could also join the spnrbb_pinchhit community; when any art becomes available during the SPN_ReverseBang, we will offer it up there:)
In the future could we not require email addresses to be posted in unlocked public posts? Just for the added bit of privacy? Maybe we could use a google form?
Hello nonnie, thank you for your suggestion. We'll be evaluating how to continue with future challenges and we will surely take this into consideration:)
