Oh my goodness, Sammy's pajamas and his little socks and the bow in his hair! And John's smiling and Dean's giving him his homemade horseshoe. Thank you so much secret artist!

The story was so perfect for that prompt. Sammy and his delight in the sheep and the manger and the angels and Dean and his utter disdain and disbelief in it all. And his worry about his dad. I love how normal their time with Pastor Jim was, pizza and sledding and snow forts. Just lovely, thanks so much!

Edited to add: I think both my author and my artist were pinch hitters, so extra special thanks!

So glad you enjoyed it! I'm not practiced at writing weechester stories at all, but I actually really liked the idea of this prompt.

I imagine anybody who had the boys stay with them for a bit would try to give them as much of a normal childhood as they could, for however short a time (much like Bobby)- plus I always thought Pastor Jim was a neat character, despite how little we saw of him.

The art is just adorable!

Very sweet, but poor little Dean is still so Dean, meaning this could very well be canon in it's bittersweetness. Good job. The art was perfect too. Sam and that bow. LOL.

Yeah I imagine Dean's cynicism kicked in pretty early- that was actually half the fun of filling this prompt - just imagining where both boys would be at emotionally.

I love the bow, too!
