Mistletoe- Dean/Castiel

Jan 01, 2011 13:41

They planned on the non-traditional Christmas dinner. They ordered a pizza and got a 24 pack a beer. Bobby was okay with that, so were Sam and Dean. Sam had invited a girl he met at a bar, Sarah.  Bobby had given the boys their presents, then got drunk and passed out.

Dean had invited Castiel, no one knew if he’d even show up. The angel had been pretty busy, with the whole taking over, and getting things back in line up stairs. Sam and Dean had been pretty busy too, after Sam got his soul back the hunting had increased severally.

He thought he needed to make it up to Dean for being such a dick for the past couple of months. Dean had told him countless times that he didn’t need to but he had insisted. Sam bought Dean beers, bacon cheese burgers, and always let him pick up women and take them back to the motel without putting up a protest at all. Not that it matter with the whole women thing anyway. Dean couldn’t get it up, every girl he brought back had tried but nothing they did worked.

Jingle bells started playing on the radio which snapped Dean out of his thoughtful haze. He looked up from the floor, looking over at Sam and Bobby playing poker, while Sarah sat next to him. Sam was laughing about something one of them said. Sam seemed to be back to his old self and for that Dean was very happy.

^_^Merry Christmas^_^

Castiel remembered the invitation that had been presented to him by Dean to join him, Bobby, and Sam for Christmas. Dean had mentioned pizza and a beverage he called eggnog which did not sound appalling.

As soon as he finished helping the rest of his brother he was going to join the Winchester’s on Earth. When he finished assisting them he repaired his coat and appeared behind Dean.

Apparently Dean was very busy in his conversation with Sam and did not notice that Castiel had showed up. He had noticed Dean leaning up against the entrance of the living area to the kitchen with a cup of white liquid, Castiel concluded t be eggnog, and he had this weird green plant with tiny red balls hanging from it. Castiel had seen pictures of this thing so he knew it had to be this mistletoe Sam had spoken to him about. He knew it was custom to kiss someone when both of you were standing underneath it, and to be normal around this women standing next to Sam which he knew not to be of the supernatural or a hunter, he would have to walk through the doorway.

He had a strong feeling in the pit of his stomach that it would be the right thing to do. He had imagined, even though as an angel he shouldn’t have, about kissing those lips. Dean seemed to bring a whole other person out of him when they were alone.

Castiel decided to take the chance. So when Sam, Bobby, and the women laid eyes on him as he stopped in the doorway next to Dean, the all smiled and greeted him. Dean straightened beside him and angled his body in Castiel’s direction. He turned to look at Dean, ignoring the stares and laughter from Sam.

He came closer to Dean, with his face inches from the other mans. Dean’s body stilled, his breathing increased, as did is heart rate. Castiel brought his lips to Dean.

Dean completely froze for moments then began to respond to the kiss. Dean slipped his tongue into Castiel’s mouth, and massaged their tongues together. Dean’s hands grabbed the trench coat that he wore with a firm grip, keeping Castiel up against him. Castiel placed one hand on Dean’s waist and the other on the back of his neck. Dean explored every inch of Castiel’s mouth.

When they broke apart, their breathing was heavy and Dean’s heart rate had increased dramatically.

“Bout time, ya igits.” Bobby commented before downing his glass of eggnog and exiting the room. He left Dean and Castiel staring at each other, while Sarah and Sam stared at the two of them.
