Nothing more than the average person [but that's still probably more than a cat plus he's lying, so.], but I'll try.
Any particular weapon in mind?

I know to stop a missile from exploding you have to clamp down the firing pin, and to prevent a gun from firing you have to turn on the safety, but I'm not sure what other weapons I'd be likely to run into.
[He pauses for a moment, swatting at the picture book in case there was a weapon he could point out in there. No such luck.]
....Just in case something happens again, I'd like to know how to stop them if I can.
