I'm trying to find a book on weapon diagrams, but... [He looks around at the books scattered on the table. He's definitely in the wrong section for that kind of stuff.]

Do you know anything about weapons and their safety features?

[That was a good question. He didn't really know much about what weapons were out there, so he couldn't name anything specific.]

I know to stop a missile from exploding you have to clamp down the firing pin, and to prevent a gun from firing you have to turn on the safety, but I'm not sure what other weapons I'd be likely to run into.

[He pauses for a moment, swatting at the picture book in case there was a weapon he could point out in there. No such luck.]

....Just in case something happens again, I'd like to know how to stop them if I can.

Oh, uh. [He has to think about it a moment, because it wasn't like he'd actually known anyone who had gotten married.] S'when people're gettin' married, you know, before, when they're engaged. They're fiancées then.
