[[ooc: ^_^ Oh! I feel so special <3 I haven't been tagged before.]]Riku had been walking through the streets like he usually did at this time in the evening. He sighed as he tried to count how long he had been in this city and soon realized he couldn't recall. He was sure it wasn't as long as it felt. Each day was like a new struggle. Against people, the city itself, and against himself. Even the person he had depended on the most was trying to avoid him. As much thinking as he had been doing lately, his mind had more and more trouble wrapping around things. His thoughts of the past and present weren't very distinct and merged into one another

She had landed with a hunter's grace upon the garbage can with little more than a slight noise made. Her ears had been perked forward, her nose twitching, as she had attempted to sense out any spiritual energy within the area. She had a sneaky suspicion that there were other shinigami here, but she had yet to find any trace of them.
It was a male voice that caught her attention, and made Yoruichi swing her head around. Large amber coloured eyes landed upon a pale boy, and Yoruichi arched a kitty eyebrow. Like a lion stalking its prey, she turned around on the garbage can and took a step in the direction of him. A snort was given as her eyes slowly narrowed into slits.
"Perhaps you should watch where you are going in the future," came a masculine voice which was very deceiving. After all, she was female.
Riku's head jerked slightly when he had clearly not expected an answer from the cat. But then again, he wasn't sure whether or not to be too surprised. After all, if lions, dragons, and chickens could talk, why not a cat?
"Huh," he grunted in the way that most do when they accept an unusual situation with out qualms.
"So, little kitty, found any good rats to eat?" He asked the question with out much thought. He tended to be sarcastic with out really trying, and this case was no different.
There was a twinkle in Yoruichi's eyes as she sat there, wondering what sort of a reaction she could get. That was always the fun part. Many people just assumed that they were going crazy, while others would freak out. Rarely did she have someone who took at as it was, and would carry on a conversation calmly with her.
Blinking several times, Yoruichi waited for his reaction, yet was sadly disappointed. If anything, it almost seemed as if he had seen a talking cat before, making Yoruichi wonder where this guy had grown up. Eyes narrowed again, as Yoruichi gave an annoyed huff.
"Rats? Have you eaten any rats? No? Then why would I want too? If you have some milk though..." She peered at him, waiting.
