Get used to the kids, I guess. I had two of them crowding around me yesterday calling me "mother". And I'm the same age as you.

[Short of locking them in the basement, there's nothing to do with them. Or so she's been told.]

[Cue facepalm.] Are you serious? Because I swear, I will whack them in the head if they call me "mom" or "mother" again.

But apparently that's not a good idea. They don't care at first, but there's some weird magic with them, or something. They're people underneath all the... robot parts.

But if this place wants me to 'play mom', I guess I'll just do just that. [She stifles a laugh.] Well, I'll have my way eventually.

[ Nadeko is.. well, looking nervous as always while she's in class, and this girl as the teacher seems sort of intimidating, so she's mainly just trying to keep to herself. And stay away from the drone kids, since they're too scary to her either.. So she's bent over her paper, quietly drawing what looks to be her Mayfield family. ]

[And Alex will be walking around the classroom and stop right next to Nadeko-]

[ She seems a bit surprised when she's talked to, and her shyness kicks in at full force, but she nods a little weakly and does answer. ]

What's with the whole 'san', thing? [Being American means she doesn't get it...] But that seems nice.

[Cain isn't quite sure what to do with a tutor that doesn't want an honorific, this is nothing like the tutors back on the colony.

Still, he is highly obedient and falls to the task with a will. Very carefully, colouring inside all the lines and measuring to a perfect scale of 1:10 in case he was being tested, he drew the following three things before presenting them to the teacher:]
