Ahh, I can relate to this post. Been dreaming about dream jobs for some time now.
I read someone somewhere (could have been the late Randy Pausch) say that that "you are what you do". Sounds obvious I suppose, but for example, I'm good at typing. I'm really good at typing. I'm good because I do it all the time. And if I didn't have to type at work, I'd still be doing it every day anyway most likely. Although I wish I could play piano or guitar like I can type. But I can't because I don't do piano or guitar every day like I do typing
