Character: Kamui, open! Location: Nocturne Bazaar Rating: meh, gen Time: backdated -- all afternoon/evening on the 16th Description: Even evil villains need to have fun once in a while!
The bazaars of his past had always been interesting. They were where he picked up most of the goods he eventually transported back to his lair; it was where languages met and mingled, evolved and became what they were. Here, despite the fact that it was a bazaar and a circus on a floating island, Chase didn't see much problem with it. He'd been stranger places, and besides, it carried nearly everything he'd been lacking on this pitiful desert mountain.
A bag slung idly in his elbow, he picked through the stands and tables, the stores and windowfronts, until he glanced up and caught sight of someone - familiar. He narrowed his eyes briefly until the name slipped back into recognition. Kamui, that strangely dedicated monster of a boy, with a sodden fate and a too-sharp mind.
hey. he's not a monster. :T ur meenpopupshadowJune 23 2010, 03:51:34 UTC
Hmm? Kamui was tall enough to look over most of the people in the carnival, and he certainly recognized those eyes. Chase Young, wasn't it? He nibbled on a piece of the candy thoughtfully. He wonders whether he'll live once Chase finds out about his plans.
Well, no matter. He hasn't gunned after him and clawed his throat out, yet, so certainly, he's on the safer side of things.
He walks in slow strides towards him, smile perpetually in his face. "How is your night so far?"

It was the smile, really, that left Chase slightly unsure about Kamui. It never seemed to go away; it flickered, every now and again, but for the most part it never left. Either the boy was perpetually entertained by the goings-on of the world around him, or he was so lost in his own mind that a smile was all he could ever bother to present. Both were viable options, at the moment.
"Surprisingly peaceful, for the crowding here. Then again, I suppose there isn't much time." He glanced at either side of himself, at the people passing by without even noticing him. It was simultaneously nostalgic and irritating. "I see yours seems to be so as well."

He'd never really realized how short Chase was compared to him, and he only noticed it now as they walked around and he had to look down at him. Ah, well. Some of us aren't so lucky.
"I don't think anyone'd try to set some trouble in the bazaar, it's not exactly strategically sound," Kamui laughs as he replied, eating another piece. "They have many sweet things in here, and I'm glad for that. You've been shopping?"
Kaworu had never been to a bazaar or a carnival prior to his arrival to Death City. He had always been restrained and limited only to the grounds of the laboratory and once cleared to join his fellow Shemhazai, had stayed only in the limited area of the city. What he knew of it were limited to only books and what little pieces of conversation gleaned by listening to others.
He didn't know that they could have one on a floating island or that there were so many people and creatures of different shapes and sizes. There was so much to learn, see and do that he didn't regret coming here, injuries aside. It made maneuvering and avoiding close contact hard and keeping his winnings and purchases tricky. A stuffed bear was resting on the arm he had in a sling, and that same wrist had a large, red balloon tied around it.
What he lamented was having no one to be with or anyone he recognized. So when he caught sight of a tall teenager, he carefully made his way over and raised a hand in hello. "Kamui!"
There were stranger things in the world, than a floating island. Well, if you were a god, at least. So Hades wasn't particularly impressed by the carnival itself, but he found the reactions of others to be mildly entertaining. That, and he'd promised Zatanna that he'd come and see her show.
However, he was early still, and he found himself with some time to kill - pun not intended - and the only thing he could think of was walking about and watching people come and go. He stood out too much, he knew, but he didn't mind. Dwarfing all humans around him, it gave him a nice perspective of their comings and goings, and it kept them from stepping on his toga.
Hades rode the crowds with an indolent expression on his face.
Kamui was walking quietly in the crowds, doing his best to act like an ordinary teenager (and really, he is -- but he is also not just -- ) when he saw the blue-grey skin. Ah, he remembers this one. "Nice dress," he greets cheerfully. Was that even right? Might be a kimono draped over weird, but he's sure he'll get the word or two soon enough.

He eyes the cast that Kaworu had, and smiled. "Did you find out your weapon form?"
