[Germany is confused for a moment, Frankreich does not look like Frankreich exactly. Oh, wait...] Frankreich. What year is it, where you are from?

[ Yeah you don't look so right either ... you're all big and burly...... ] It's 1747, of course! Could you be... Prussia's brother?

That is not an off course. Most of us come from the latter half of the 1900s-- [sigh] But yes, I am Preußen's younger brother, though I go by Deutschland now. Germany is perhaps simpler.

You're all so - [ old. ] Look at you! You're huge!! I can barely recognize you! You are finally your own nation now, are you?

[ they grow up so fast.................. wistful sigh...... ]

I am not even attempting French as I will butcher it miserably. fortunetelloli August 24 2011, 00:33:50 UTC
[She's excited to see someone speaking so much French! She was looking for a tutor! But... didn't he just say he was France?

She probably just mis-heard. Either way, she's replying in French. Her accent is only a little off, but her grammar is nearly as good as her English grammar, which is as close to perfect as is sensible in conversation. To be fair though, she was using simpler sentences, even if it would pass in conversation.]

Hello, Francis? [Still not sure...] My name is Mary Weather Hargreaves! It is a pleasure to meet you! Are you from a time earlier than 2009? I am actually from 1897, in London, but my big brother says that it is important for a young Lady to learn French!

That is more than okay! <3 rightofkings August 24 2011, 00:59:39 UTC
[ Oh! What a cute little girl! And so polite and she speaks French!! His heart is already won.

And he doesn't even notice the switch to "Francis" since that's also his name. ]

Yes, hello Mademoiselle! Your brother is clearly one of good taste! French is the best language there is! Especially when compared to English.

The year is actually 1747 for me, though.

I think he and I would both argue that English is just as good as French, but it is a beautiful language! It is unfortunate, but I still am only learning.

So you are from even earlier than I am! I have not met someone who is from and earlier time! Not that I am aware of, at least.

Of course you would! [ Because you're English. ] I'll be happy to teach you more.

No? How does 2009 compare to the 19th century? It's all very strange to me, but I'm happy to say that at least I'm still young and beautiful!

[A young man with a charming smile and bed-room eyes replies with a slight Swedish accent.] I would be happy to give you all the company you would like, for the right price.

[ he looks pretty strange to France fashion-wise but his face is still nice! and how cheeky... ]

I actually have to pay? Well I have plenty of gold in my pocket. Probably something else too... [ that he stole. off his enemies' dead bodies. ]

[He can sell gold. Damn, what's the selling price of gold around here? Whatever, he's long substituted pricey presents for pay.]

I'm sure that we could arrange something, then.

When would you want me to come by?

[Pay is pay, stolen or not.]

I'll throw in something extra if you teach me.

[ but you can't have it all :| ]

Of course, you can come by any time you like.
