Waking up this morning sans my labret made me wonder about all those things they say you swallow and never realize it.  Like spiders.  Isn't there a statistic for that?  It's most likely in my bed or on the floor somewhere, but it made me think anyhow ( Read more... )

it may just be urban legend, but supposedly the average person swallows 5 spiders in their sleep per year.

Personally, I dont buy it.

Nor do I. I have cats to eat those. As for my labret, I was pleased to find I had taken it out responsibly at some point in the night and put it on the bedside table. Thankfully, I relocated another ball to put on it, so I would not have to relive the experience again tonight.

happy to say, spider swallowage quotas, all bullocks.

did find a dead winged something stuck to the bottom of one of my prewashed spinach leaves wednsday night.
