Kohane didn't have much to do except for walk around, and thus she eventually ended up by the cafe. Her eyepatch was gone now--she threw it away--but her arm remained in a cast since she had no idea how to remove it.

Upon seeing Yoh and Tamaki, she cocked her head to one side, but said nothing. She did stare for a few moments though.

"Eh? But--" ...Oh! Tamaki had heard cases such as this before. In fact it was the same as Kyouya.

"Ah, forgive me. You were here before but left a while back. It happens a few times," he said in an apologetic voice. He then bowed politely. "I am Suoh Tamaki."

Now that that was settled, Kohane spoke up.

"Yes, I'm the person who asked for help," she confirmed, shifting her left arm, which was still being held up by the cloth and wrapped in the cast. Realizing that both of their names had been said, she added, "My name is Tsuyuri Kohane."

While she would've normally gone with the other way around for the sake of others understanding her, Tamaki seemed to be Japanese.

Kohane shook her head. "It didn't heal on its own. Someone healed it and my other injuries with some kind of magic. She didn't give me her name, and I don't know anything more than that."

She might've sounded like a child telling a story, but it was practically a written rule of the universe that Kohane never lied. It was up to Derek as to whether he believed her or not.

"Unless she left, she should still be here," Kohane answered, before pausing. "You don't believe me, do you?"

She focused her powers on him. There wasn't much she could pick up on, except for a strange ability he possessed and hints of death around him. If he wanted proof that magic existed, she could at least prove that she was no ordinary child with her newfound information.

"So you don't believe me," said Kohane, her face blank as usual. It wasn't like she needed people to be gentle with her. She glanced at Tamaki, as if silently asking for backup, before returning her attention to Derek.

"How long have you been here, Stiles-san?" True, Kohane herself hadn't been here for very long, but she had known about the existence of the supernatural for a large part of her life. Chances were that this man was relatively new--she didn't need to be a spirit medium to know that.

If he hadn't been here for very long, then how could he know for sure that magic didn't exist here? Kohane wanted to ask that, but she realize they were getting off-track. He was here to remove her cast, not to debate the existence of magic. It was unlikely he would trust the words of an eleven-year-old anyway, and Kohane was used to people not believing her.

"Either way, my arm is fully healed. How doesn't matter."

I have no idea either. ^^; featherlikesnow April 1 2009, 00:15:35 UTC
"All right," Kohane replied. "She has pink hair, if that helps." She did as he asked, moving her wrist and fingers around. The movement was a bit stiff, but that was only because she hadn't used them in a while. Otherwise, they appeared to be fine.
