OOC: SCREAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM OMFG SOMEONE PLAYS PEOPLE FROM LEGACY OF KAIN walk_in_grey October 4 2011, 18:04:07 UTC
Allen was just on his way home with a few bags loaded with groceries when he spotted Janos out of the corner of his eye. At first he didn't notice the wings so he immediately made his way over to the man who looked ill to say the least.

"Sir? Are you al-" he froze in mid sentence as he finally took in the man's features. Wings that looked like those he'd seen in pictures of angels over the years. Pointy ears like a dear dear friend of his back home. The blue skin however was definitely a novelty. He quickly swallowed his bewilderment and approached.

"Are you alright?" he said just as a golden winged ball peeped up from behind Allen eyeing mister bluey with utmost curiosity.

OH GOSH YOU KNOW ABOUT IT? tenthguardian October 4 2011, 18:25:45 UTC
He looked up at the sound of the voice. A young human. Janos could smell him from here, although unlike Vorador he knew how to contain himself and his hunger if need be. Or perhaps Vorador simply didn't want to contain himself.

All the same, he smiled at the genuine concern the boy showed him. If only there were more like him in Nosgoth.

"I...no. I am afraid not. ...It is not safe for you to be here. My curse expects a heavy price in blood for sustenance."

"Blood?!" There was surprise for a moment before he quickly stashed it away not wanting to be rude. "You are...a vampire then?" he asked cautiously. He took Janos' warning to heart and kept his guard up ready to get out of the way at a moment's notice.

Still the man was hardly the feral bloodsucking beast depicted in the legends and fairytales. Another aspect that reminded him of Krory. That was probably why he found it easy to put his hand on the man's shoulder to steady him.

"If you need blood I think I know where it might be possible to get some." The hospitals would have blood-banks most likely. But Janos didn't look like he'd make it there on his own so just giving him directions was not an option. That and Allen was never one to leave a person in need regardless if they were human or not.

Janos nearly flinched at the unexpected touch. But the boy's words were comforting. If he knew where he could feed without killing, then... "Where?"

Isabelle was relatively unbothered by the initial sight of the blue man. After all, he was no different from the Fair Folk she knew back home, right down to the wings; it was, in actuality, the fact that he fell back against one of the cottages looking more than a little strained that caught her eye. She didn't really care, but he was a Downworlder, and if she just let him die, then it would be on her. And then Alec and Jace would be on her, and the consequences of the Accords would probably come into play...

And it would just generally be messy.

So she strode over to him, hands on leather-clad hips, and stared him down. "What's up?"

The unusual greeting caught his attention. Janos looked up at the human female. She seemed so young, but incredibly brave in approaching him. "...you do not fear me?"

"Um, no. Not really," she shrugged, wondering if she should have worn less clothing to show off the runic scars tracing her entire body from throat to toe. As it was, just her arms were showing, and there were only enough black Marks to suggest that she was into tattoos.

"Why would I be?"

Janos couldn't help but smile. "You have...kind words. I am a vampire...and my curse has been denied its share in blood for too long." He showed no outward notice as his stomach clenched in anticipation. The smell of her blood was enticing.

"I do not wish to harm you."

Making his way through Espoir, Jin noticed something unusual; a man, relatively tall with massive black wings, and... blue skin? It was hard not to notice such a unique person, even given the variety of creatures here in Somarium.

Stopping some feet away, Jin leered at the man, trying to determine whether or not he was hostile. He didn't seem to be dangerous, at least not in his current state. Jin took a few steps forward, his gaze softening marginally.

"...You there." Pausing a moment, Jin folded his arms, his gaze locked on the man. "Something wrong?"

He looked up. A human... yet he did not hold a weapon, or advance with malicious intent. Or scream and run. A bit standoffish, perhaps, but...certainly not looking at him with intent to kill.

"It is a hunger that only blood can sate."

Blood? Jin could only assume that the man before him was a vampire, although he looked quite different from the ones he had seen or heard of. Jin found nothing frightening or malicious about the man, so there was no reason to summon his blade at that moment.

"If it's blood you need, there are blood tablets that you can purchase here."

There was no particular reason why Kamui was in Espoir, but no one probably noticed him idly walking around, since he usually took the back streets behind cottages inside talking the main routes that lead to the central plaza. The less people to notice him the better.

As he walked stealthily through the streets, he sensed the hunger coming from Janos. Being a vampire himself, he could relate to the feeling. But his changing of direction wasn't really to aid, but to figure out how much of a danger this individual would.

When the brunette found Janos, he approached with caution. Noting his unusual traits of blue skin and having wings, but also taking note of the other's pained state. This was not good."...how bad is it?"

Janos looked up. Smelled the air discreetly to confirm what his instincts already told him. Another vampire. He didn't have the smell of Vorador about him. But then again, he wouldn't, would he? Raziel had confirmed that his entire bloodline had been eradicated. Stamped out like vermin.

"I was in a death-stasis for five hundred years...and I have not had the chance to feed since."

Kamui raised an eyebrow.Five hundred years? That was a long time, which was why he needed to be cautious. It was already possible that the other's hunger was overpowering him as they spoke. The other was acting feral, so there was a chance that this could be remedied without bloodshed."...I've never dealt with a vampire of your sort. I wonder if I gave you my blood what would happened to me? I'm a purebred, but your physiology is different. What happens to your victims?"

Purebred, to Janos, doesn't make sense of course. Even he wasn't born with the curse. "It...it depends on how much is taken, of course. Humans are...fragile. ...I have not fed from another vampire in a long time. I would not take from a fledgling, of course..."

[Well this was an interesting sight. Crowley hadn't known there were any vampires here, not that this one felt like the vampires of his world.]

New arrival?
