Naoto heard someone land behind her, and turned to face him. She paused for a moment, wondering why somebody would be wearing a full suit of armor, much less in the middle of the summer.
Given the situation she found herself in, it couldn't be considered too strange. It didn't seem completely out of place in the European village, either.
At the very least, it was someone she could ask for help. She lowered the tip of her hat as she spoke, "Do you know what happened here?"

"I'm sorry for the loss," she said, frowning curiously. Certainly, that would explain the damaged houses, but she couldn't shake the feeling that there was something more to it than simply that.
"Are you aware of the cause?"
Her tone didn't change as she spoke, but she was curious. If she could find out more about what had caused this, it was likely, in a roundabout way, she could find out more about this world itself, too.

[ and that somebody happens to be someone who doesn't usually wander much, but has taken to doing so ever since construction began. he sort of lost track of the person he was looking for, but--
-- but someone just said something so he's turning and- blinking a bit. ]
Out of town? [ ... furrowing his brows a bit and giving a suspicious glance. ] How did you-
[ ah.
he gets it quickly, the former suspiciousness gone and replaced with understanding and realization. must be a newcomer, because- because, well, the barrier (that keeps beasts and such out) doesn't let people from 'out of town' in unless they came in from a different world. at least, that's what he was led to believe, and he wasn't tugged the other way.
either way, the one in front of him doesn't know where this is, so: ] It's alright. This is Somarium, a dream world.
[He seemed a bit suspicious of her as well, leading her to believe that she was not the first person this had happened to. Likely, she was not the last.
...That didn't seem possible but, then again, neither did the existence of the world behind the TV. Were there shadows here, too?]
The... was it a girl? But she was dressed more like a boy. It would be impolite to ask, right? So... she'd just listen a little closer next time when the person spoke. Ada wanted to help after all.
"Yes? Can I help you?"
The person did look a bit lost. Perhaps they were new. Not that now would be a very good time to be dropped here. Although... well... it was better then if someone had arrived during the flood.
So it was someone new, as she suspected. Well, their timing could have been better but it could have been worse. Still, they deserved a proper warm welcome regardless.
"Yes. Are you new here?" Ada had time. If she really was new here, she probably had a lot of questions deserving answers after all. Ada smiled warmly. Even in bleak circumstances, that's how a welcome should be.

Ah, I'm sorry. I'm from out of town, do you know where this place is?
[It wasn't a lie, but it wasn't the truth, either. It would be best to ease into the conversation, and see what he knew first.]
