Shantaram

A few of us - eddd, freegeek, Atul, Archana, and me - 'met' Shantaram aka Gregory David Roberts as part of the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival. The villager geek has written about it here. I think Shantaram is an awesome dude. All that he said was inspiring to say the least. freegeek's photos here - I happen to be in the background in most of this set.

He seems to be hanging out only with ladies :) Did you get to meet him at all ? Anyhow, can't wait to read that novel.
