Thank you. My friend biggelois who commented just before you is a school teacher. She says that some of my drabbles I craft more as poems. I had told her that I had never written a poem before, but she disagreed.

So, the fact that you picked up on the structure, it being lyrical and having a rhythm to it makes me think that she must be right.

It's everything I love in a drabble.

It's first person pov, it's poetic, it's emotive and has a wonderful last line.

I wrote it on the weekend but decided to hold it for a few days before I posted it, just wanted to sit on it. Usually when I do that I may come back and change something, but this time, I just posted it as is.
