It's so exciting to have a life goal again. Olin needed to be replaced with something. -
Adulthood
Or really, imitation of adulthood. Somehow, sitting on the couch staring at our empty-beer-bottle-infographic (we had a party; we don't drink nearly enough by ourselves to constitute an info-anything) and listening to music YouTube doesn't feel much like being an adult. Waiting for Superman
Going out to see Waiting for Superman with Olin kids was such a good idea. Chatting over drinks afterwards was even better, although we did tend to wander towards other topics ( Read more... ) -
When did the livejournal interface get all obnoxious?
I usually just go straight to my friends page, so I hadn't really noticed, but holy cow. There is stuff everywhere, and most of it has nothing to do with blogging. Take it easy, guys.
I'm not even getting into a heuristic analysis of this site. That would be ridiculous. -
New cat
We have a new cat, of an entirely different personality than I have previously been exposed to. She is small and cuddly, and gets quite excited to see people, which we haven't seen before. She also responds to the television, something none of our previous pets have ever reacted to in any way, shape or form. Not quite sure why - it flashes light ( Read more... ) -

Owl City + LIGHTS + Paper Route Concert
A bunch of Oliners went to the Owl City concert at the House of Blues (admittedly, I was a lot more excited about LIGHTS). It was interesting - the sound balance was really screwed up for both Paper Route (didn't like their sound a whole lot) and LIGHTS.
