New Draft of the Prospectus... F#@#ing Committee.

I think professors form their habits over time. My committee is in the habit of simply rejecting every and all first drafts I give them. I wrote my prospectus, and they said, "This is more like the first chapter of your dissertation. Go back and figure out your prospectus, which is more like an outline." So I did TOO MUCH work. LET ME WRITE AND

I just passed mine, yesterday. They also gave hard times, to the point that I almost lost my motivation to continue. But it is all part of the dance. Without it you would not have the sense that you "earned" it, in the end. You can't win this ritual, just accept it as punishment for whatever sins you have committed in the past that have led you to choose this strange profession....:-)
