I swear I'm going to listen and looking forward to enjoying it when I get the moment. Glad you made another one on another great subject (plus good balance of shoujo vs shounen material -- though both shows appeal to both genders on different levels).
Aw, thanks! Yeah, I mean...I like a lot of various shows/series of varying genres, so I want to try to bring that to the podcast and have something for everyone. While Sailor Moon and Utena can obviously be enjoyed by any gender, a lot of people don't care for shoujo and that's cool...I can dig it.
I eventually want to do a Dragon Ball episode, too, but I need to find the right person to talk to. (I used to be quite into Dragon Ball when I was in jr high, but it's been so long, I've forgotten a lot about it. I really should sit down and watch some of it again. The first series was really cute and funny.)
Oh. And Gal Force!! I loved Gal Force and everything about Kenichi Sonoda's imagination frankly. He was ahead of his time.
I also liked how the fan of Gundam admitted to poor voice acting, your skills and insight into that part of the genre is interesting. It's good to know even hardcore fans can admit when stuff isn't perfect.
Oh, yes! I LOVE Gal Force and I'd love to do an ep on it, or one of Kenichi Sonoda's works in general because I adore his stuff.
Yeah, thelastsong may be a Gundam fan, but she will be one of the first to admit that Gundam itself is an imperfect franchise (esp. when it comes to the American handling of it.)
